The On Cue Theatre has been in existence since 1995 always reaching for the stars and beyond.
As a traveling theatre company we strive to produce theatrical productions of the highest standard, which are both entertaining and educational.
Our aim in traveling is to reach audiences who would otherwise never experience the magic, the thrill and excitement of live theatre.

Three Pronged approach:
PRE- PRIMARY AND NURSERY SCHOOL SHOWS.
On Cue Theatre’s character, ‘Betty Button’, goes to Pre Primary schools five times a year having new experiences and learning different things in each term’s show. These brilliant one-hour shows are packed with age appropriate themes, children’s issues and choices. The productions are fun, fascinating, and full of audience participation, and are both educational and culturally enriching. Schools can choose the language of instruction, either English, Afrikaans, or a mixture of both languages.
ROAD SHOWS FOR PRIMARY SCHOOLS.
- Yearly Pantomime. A Pantomime, which is always based on profound or classical literate, contains many of the pantomime elements, making this a enjoyable to learning experience for all.
- A collection of Fairy Tales or short stories This is collection of well know short stories, fairy tales or Fables.
- Life skills shows. These shows are aimed to empower and equip the learner to face challenges that they may encounter, at school home or on social level. These are designed to suite the various ages, and socioeconomic make up of the audience
HIGH SCHOOL PRODUCTIONS.
Our high school productions are selected according to the most widely used prescribed set-work books being used for that particular year. The productions provide learners with an excellent understanding of the work whilst being entertained by top professional actors. This production only runs for a limited period so we propose early bookings to ensure availability.
